They provide our customers with services directly or through our
offices around the globe.
In this way, we bring leading technology to our customers in a
cost-effective and appropriate manner. Our operations in the
Americas are led by our centre in Milburn, New Jersey,
USA.
Our engineers and scientists are world leaders in their fields so
we can bring innovation and state-of-the-art knowledge to all our
customers, but with design centres in India and elsewhere, we can
back these world quality experts with cost effective design. From
odour control to surge analysis, from sludge disposal to hydraulic
structures, from flood risk management to catchment planning, we
can help find the right solution for you.
Our customers include water utilities worldwide, environmental
protection agencies, the European Union, the World Bank and other
funding institutions (IFIs), bilateral donors as well as investors
and water operators.
We currently provide services throughout all the regions of the UK
and have long-term contracts with the Department for International
Development (DFID), the Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water,
Anglian Water, Thames Water, Southern Water, Northumbrian Water,
Wessex Water, Severn Trent Water, Scottish Water, and Northern
Ireland Water Service.
Projects include due diligence and technical audits for investors
such as the privately funded sewerage project in Ajman (UAE), the
planning and design of a new £100 million+ wastewater treatment
plant for Brighton, river basin catchment planning in Ukraine,
water resource management development in China, design of
hydro-dams in Vietnam, sea water cooling systems and desalination
in the Middle East, and earthquake reconstruction in Pakistan.
