Wreford joined Mott MacDonald in 1985 after completing his MSc
in Water Resources Technology from the University of Birmingham and
his BSc in Engineering Science from the University of Warwick. He
works in the Water Utilities Division of Mott MacDonald, with
Cambridge as his home office.
Peter is currently based in Romania in the city of Buzau. Here he
is working on an EU funded project to refurbish a wastewater
treatment works for a population equivalent of 150,000 people and
the water supply and sewerage systems are to be rehabilitated and
extended.
During his time at Mott MacDonald Peter has worked in many
different countries including Russia, Thailand, Saint Helena,
Bangladesh, Indonesia, Romania, China, Hong Kong, Uganda, Turkey,
Mozambique and Nigeria.
His extensive experience includes project management, planning,
design and implementation of sewage treatment, sewerage, water
supply and solid waste management projects. He has worked on
wastewater projects in the UK including projects in Scotland, for
Yorkshire Water, Wessex Water, and on the Dover/Folkestone
Wastewater Scheme as well as for major cities overseas such as
Bangkok, Surabaya, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
