Sapna Trivedi: water networks

In discussion with Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager to review programme for Thames Water's London Clean Water Network projectSapna Trivedi joined Mott MacDonald in 1999 after completing a MEng degree at Imperial College, University of London. She has gained chartered engineer status while working for us and has worked on water supply and sewerage projects for various water plcs in England; in particular, Yorkshire Water Services and Thames Water Utilities Ltd.

Sapna is experienced in the feasibility, design and project management of water supply and wastewater engineering schemes. She is also experienced in establishing working links with external stakeholders such as local government, land owners and statutory consultees in relation to the implementation of capital schemes.

Between 2001 and 2004, Sapna worked at Mott MacDonald Bentley, which is a joint venture company set up to deliver Yorkshire Water Services’ wastewater capital programme. During this time, she was responsible for the delivery of sewerage schemes, and in particular schemes to prevent area and property flooding.

Sapna is currently seconded as a Project Manager to Thames Water. She works in Thames Water’s London Clean Water Network team which delivers all water supply projects in the London area, as Mott MacDonald is Thames Water’s framework consultant for this programme of work during AMP4. She has delivered a variety of projects in London, including the upgrade of existing service reservoir overflows, capital works to repair the 400-year old New River aqueduct, and the development of new groundwater sources. Sapna is responsible for the project management of these schemes. She is also responsible for communication with contractors, various stakeholders within Thames Water, and external stakeholders such as local authorities. She manages inputs from members of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the successful delivery of projects within the framework.
