Manager to review programme for Thames Water's London Clean Water
Network projectSapna Trivedi joined Mott MacDonald in
1999 after completing a MEng degree at Imperial College, University
of London. She has gained chartered engineer status while working
for us and has worked on water supply and sewerage projects for
various water plcs in England; in particular, Yorkshire Water
Services and Thames Water Utilities Ltd.
Sapna is experienced in the feasibility, design and project
management of water supply and wastewater engineering schemes. She
is also experienced in establishing working links with external
stakeholders such as local government, land owners and statutory
consultees in relation to the implementation of capital schemes.
Between 2001 and 2004, Sapna worked at Mott MacDonald Bentley,
which is a joint venture company set up to deliver Yorkshire Water
Services’ wastewater capital programme. During this time, she was
responsible for the delivery of sewerage schemes, and in particular
schemes to prevent area and property flooding.
Sapna is currently seconded as a Project Manager to Thames Water.
She works in Thames Water’s London Clean Water Network team which
delivers all water supply projects in the London area, as Mott
MacDonald is Thames Water’s framework consultant for this programme
of work during AMP4. She has delivered a variety of projects in
London, including the upgrade of existing service reservoir
overflows, capital works to repair the 400-year old New River
aqueduct, and the development of new groundwater sources. Sapna is
responsible for the project management of these schemes. She is
also responsible for communication with contractors, various
stakeholders within Thames Water, and external stakeholders such as
local authorities. She manages inputs from members of
multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the successful delivery of
projects within the framework.
